It would be great to update Chart.js dependency.
Maybe add directives for the other chart types.

    The migration to Chart.js 4.x and the full TypeScript modernization are now implemented and available for testing on the release/v3.0.0-rc branch.

    Key changes include:

    • Strict TypeScript core and examples.
    • Modernized build pipeline (Rollup + esbuild).
    • Native Chart.js v4 support (including horizontalBar mapping).
    • Improved dimension-polling for responsive charts.

    Feedback on the v3.0.0-rc.2 release candidate is welcome.
