Why not UWP? Currently, users have to press Guide button > scroll down > press Start > quit |
Author
I have just concentrated on the desktop platform before. Now, the latest commit adds an Exit button for UWP (only excluding Android and iPhone iOS), but I don't have the test environment of this platform. |

Description
This Pull Request adds an
Exitbutton to the top-right corner of the main menu (to the right of theSettingsbutton) for desktop platforms, such as Windows and Linux.Context and Motivation
Currently, only the Switch version displays an
Exitbutton on the main menu. However, in practical use cases, such as dedicated retro gaming consoles running Flycast standalone version on Linux or Windows in a TV/cabinet setup, players often rely strictly on gamepads without a keyboard or mouse attached. For these users, closing the emulator through the GUI is currently inconvenient or impossible without external peripherals. This modification improves accessibility for gamepad-only setups by providing a straightforward way to exit the emulator directly from the main menu.
