negative value or bracket for random-depart-offset #10374
Low priority:
It would be nice to have a way to also offset the departure by a negative value.
Even better would be to be able to scramble the departures completely with two values. E.g., (-1800, 900) -> offsets the departures randomly 1800s before and 900s after the planned departure.
Due to the way routes are loaded incrementally, there is currently no general way to permit negative offsets. By the time the vehicle is read from file, the value of depart - offset might already be past.
What you need could be accomplished with a python tool. A small adaptation (new option) to tools/route/route_departOffset.py would work.
