🚌 Bus Booking System (PHP + MySQL)

A web-based Bus Booking System that allows users to register, log in, view available routes, and book bus tickets. Admins can manage routes and view bookings. This project was developed as a final-year college project using core PHP, MySQL, HTML, and CSS — without any modern frameworks.

🏁 Getting Started

Prerequisites

• PHP (7.x or 8.x)
• MySQL or MariaDB
• Apache Server (via XAMPP/WAMP)

Setup Instructions

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/yourusername/bus_bookingsystem.git

2. For XAMPP:

C:/xampp/htdocs/bus_bookingsystem/

For WAMP:

C:/wamp/www/bus_bookingsystem/

3. • Open http://localhost/phpmyadmin in your browser.

• Create a new database named: bus
• Click on the database → Import → Choose 'bus.sql' from the project folder → Click Go

4. // File: db.php or db_connection.php $host = 'localhost'; $username = 'root'; $password = ''; // Default password for XAMPP/WAMP $database = 'bus';

5. http://localhost/bus_bookingsystem/
