TidyUp

Hide unwanted parts of web pages using your own plain-language rules.

  • Start with categories for ads, cookie consent, and subscription prompts, or write your own rules.
  • Switch categories on or off and disable TidyUp for individual websites.
  • Use Show hidden to reveal removed content temporarily. Click it again to hide it.

Get started

  1. Open TidyUp from your browser toolbar, then open Settings.
  2. Under Connection, choose TypeSafe direct or OpenRouter and enter your API key.
  3. Under Rules, add your own rules or expand Starter categories and add them. Select Save settings.

TidyUp runs automatically on page load. For manual control, change When to tidy under Preferences, save, then use Run now in the popup.

Your provider receives page snippets to check against your rules. Hiding cookie consent does not accept cookies, and hiding subscription prompts does not unlock paid content.
