Supersedes Dependabot #33. The Actions bumps are the same set, with two corrections.

What changed

  • actions/setup-go 5.6.0 → 7.0.0 in test and Go release workflows. go-version and cache-dependency-path are unchanged.
  • actions/attest-build-provenance v3 → 4.2.2 and actions/attest 4.2.0 → 4.2.2 on the npm, Python, and MCP release workflows. Publish jobs already grant id-token: write and attestations: write.
  • pypa/gh-action-pypi-publish moves to the peeled commit of annotated tag v1.14.2. Dependabot updated the SHA but left the comment at # v1.13.0.
  • softprops/action-gh-release moves to v3.0.3 instead of the v3.0.2 pin in Bump the github-actions group across 1 directory with 5 updates #33. v3.0.3 classifies malformed GitHub API errors safely (softprops/action-gh-release#822). name, tag_name, generate_release_notes, and body are still valid inputs.

Release workflows do not run on pull requests, so this was checked by peeling each tag to the pinned commit and confirming the inputs still exist.

The PyPI publish action SHA is the peeled commit of annotated tag v1.14.2. Dependabot left the pin comment at v1.13.0; the comment now matches v1.14.2.

softprops/action-gh-release v3.0.3 fixes malformed GitHub API error handling (softprops/action-gh-release#822). Inputs name, tag_name, generate_release_notes, and body are unchanged.
