   I (@doggy8088 / Will Huang) have stepped in to take over active maintenance of Carnac at doggy8088/carnac (project website: https://carnac.gh.miniasp.com/).

   Regarding macOS / Homebrew support:

   • Carnac is a native Windows desktop application built with WPF and Win32 low-level hooks (WH_KEYBOARD_LL / WH_MOUSE_LL), so it runs on Windows only (for macOS, you may want to check out native macOS tools such as KeyCastr).
   • On Windows, our maintained version is available via WinGet (winget install doggy8088.Carnac), Chocolatey (choco install carnac), and direct GitHub Releases (installer & portable .zip) at https://github.com/doggy8088/carnac!
