Hi everyone,

I tried now three times, to apply for the education benefits program as teacher by uploading my Salary. I think it gets rejected because in github our school is called

"Federal Commercial Academy and Federal Commercial School Imst"

but on my Salary it is called

"HAK/HAS Imst" which is short form for "Handelsakademie / Handelsschule Imst" which translates to "Federal Commercial Academy and Federal Commercial School Imst".

In my third attempt I tried to explain this directly on the salary which I took the snapshot from.

Another problem could be that our e-Mail adress is ...@tsn.at where tsn is short form of "Tiroler Schulnetz". All schools have this domain.

In the moment I am stuck and hope to get help.

The name mismatch is probably the main issue since the abbreviations don't match exactly what GitHub has on file. Try uploading a document that clearly shows both names together, or reach out to GitHub Support with a screenshot of your salary showing the school name and explain that HAK/HAS Imst is the official abbreviation. The shared email domain shouldn't be a problem as long as it's a legitimate school email.

I already added it to the document and explained it, so I think the only option left is GitHub Support. However, they stated that they do not offer support for educational purposes and told me to ask here instead.
