With all the hype about https://github.com/swoole/typephp I wonder whether you consider this to be part of Bref as well at some point? It seems to bring a huge speed-up but I'm not sure about all the implications 🤔

I thought Bref could include the required PHP extension and also run the build during deployment.

Right, having the extension could be part of the bref-extra-extensions repository (until this becomes widely adopted). As for the build during deployment, Bref doesn't run the build itself, users can run anything (in their CI for example) before bref deploy or serverless deploy.
